WHAT YOU NEED:
- Bib
- Fabric
- Thread/floss
- Needle
- Scissors
- Cutout
The first thing I did was draw a number one (for Reece's first birthday) on a piece of paper. You could just draw directly on the fabric if you wanted, but I think that would be messier. Cut it out and pin it to your fabric. You could easily do an initial or any number for whatever birthday!
Cut out the number on the fabric.
Pin your fabric number to your bib. You could have fun with bibs - get a fun patterned one, and do a solid colored number/letter, or just get a plain colored one and have a fun patterned fabric. I was going with cheap, so I used an old I Love Daddy bib that we already have and just covered up the writing with the cut out number.
Thread your needle.
Tie a knot at the end, and start stitching around the edges, removing the pins as you go.
When you are done, knot it again - I tied together my thread end with the knotted end that was my starting point.
Done! I think it will look pretty cute with Reece's tutu!
These are adorable!
