I'd love to introduce you to Chris, who is the owner of Nellie B's!

Here's Chris to tell you a little bit about herself:

"Hi Sumo's Sweet Stuff readers, my name is Chris, and I am the grandma behind the Nellie B's Etsy shop, and sometimes contributor to the Sweet C's Designs Blog.

When my kids- who are now adults- started preschool, I stopped working to be able to be involved with their schooling. During this time I took a painting class in the evening with some friends, and I decided that I could profit from it. I ended up painting for a Bellini's, a high end children's furniture store, and a boutique store on Montana Avenue in Santa Monica, CA. Many celebrities frequented the boutique and I painted commissioned pieces for several of them. Through two moves, I kept painting children's furniture and murals for local Bellini stores in Seattle and Denver, but my husband's busy travel schedule kept me from painting as much as I would have liked, and I didn't do much until my grandson was born a year ago.

When daughter Courtney recently started an etsy store and blog, SweetC's , I contributed a few paintings to her shop. We decided that I should start my own store dedicated solely to Children's paintings so they could stand out more.

Nellie B's is named after my maternal grandmother, and I offer numerous paintings and designs for children. I am also available for custom designs! "
